Our Timeline

Zach and I have known each other for 14 years, have been living together for 7 years and have been married for 2 years. We started ttc shortly after we got married in the beginning of 2015. We realized a few months in that something wasn't right and decided to see a doctor. Multiple appointment's later and we're on our 2nd FET hoping this one will stick. Here is a timeline from when we first went to speak with someone about our infertility until today where were are on our 2nd round of FET.

October 16^th – start prenatals

*Nov. 26^th – start first IVF/ICSI treatment

               

Dec. 1^st – bloodwork

Dec. 6^th – blood & ultrasound

Dec. 9^th – egg retrieval (6 embryos)

Dec. 14^th – transfer day

Dec. 24^th – pregnancy test (positive!)

February 9, 2016 – 10 week follow-up (miscarriage)

Feb. 11^th – d & c

Mar. 2^nd – follow-up with dr. alper

March 24^th – sonohysterogram (normal)

*May 5^th – start new/2^nd IVF/ICSI treatment (none of the other embyros survived)

May 17^th – egg retrieval  (6 embryos)

May 20^th – transfer day

May 31^st – pregnancy test (positive but very low)

June 2^nd – 2nd pregnancy test (still low)

June 5^th – 3^rd pregnancy test

June 6^th – follow-up with dr. alper

June 8^th- 4^th HCG test

June 14^th - blood & ultrasound

Methotrexate shot due to ectopic pregnancy (bloodwork on the 26^th, 29^th, 8^th, 22^nd, 29^th)

August 17^th – follow-up with dr. alper (decide to take break from everything for a few months)

*Nov. 1^st - start 3^rd round but FET (2 frozen embryos, use 1)

Nov. 18^th – blood & ultrasound

Nov. 23^rd – transfer day

Dec. 3^rd – pregnancy/HCG test (another miscarriage @ 5 weeks)

Dec 6^th - bloodwork

January 4, 2017 – dr. alper follow-up

Jan. 10^th – bloodwork

*Feb. 7^th – start 2^nd FET treatment (use last embryo)

March 3^rd – blood and ultrasound

March 16^th – transfer day (**crossing our fingers this is the one!)

March 25th - HCG test. BFN


April 11th - follow up with dr. alper. decided to take a break and possibility of changing doctors


July 18th - Consultation with Dr. Carla DiGiralamo at IVF NE/Boston IVF in Westborough
                  decide that more test need to be taken and the possibility of genetic screening start blood work immediately with next AF

July 20th - blood work and ultrasound   all clear

July 24th - hysteroscopy   all clear, very small possible cyst 

August 21st - attended first support group meeting with REsolve

Sept 5th  - followup with dr carla: decision made to continue with fresh cycle #3 ivf/icsi using PGS (genetic screening) wait for one month while insurance is approved and then start hormones. start BC with next period

Sept 9th - blood work, started BC

Oct 2nd - stop BC

Oct 3rd - blood & ultrasound

Oct 5th - start stims (gonal f & menopur) at night

Oct 9th - blood & ultrasound: continue (gonal f & menopur)

Oct 12th - blood & ultrasound

Oct 19th - Retrieval 7am (12 eggs retrieved, 4 survived, 1 made it to blasocyst-sent to test PGS)

Nov 10th - Follow up with Dr. D, find out results 1 PERFECT EMBRYO!

Nov 17th - stop BC

Nov 20th - Cycle day 1 (start estrace and baby aspirin)

Nov 22nd Calendar Day 1

Dec 5th - Blood & US

Dec 11th - FET

Dec 16th - (5dp5dt) took HPT FAINT POSITIVE!!!, positive and darker on day 6-9 as well!

Dec 21st - BETA TEST!!!
